  • Thursday Network is an auxiliary group of the Greater Washington Urban League and National Urban League, for Young Professionals in the Washington, D.C. metro area. They utilize social media to engage with and promote philanthropic work in the community.

  • In this role I was directly responsible for overseeing the look, feel, and voice of the Thursday Network brand as well as interacting with their audience of 9,000+ users across all platforms. This included overseeing all of the digital outlets, as well as creative direction, design, and publishing of content from concept to completion.

 
  • Working cross-functionally with each of the organizations’ committees, I produced uniquely branded graphics for each event and initiative. The theme, event dates, and details were determined by the committee while I handled the look, feel, and voice of the graphics as well as copy for the posts.

  • I managed each of the platforms the organization has a presence on, primarily Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. This work included aligning the branding, managing posts across all channels, and responding to audience inquiries as they came in.

  • To increase organizational awareness, I developed promotional posts to be shared across the various channels and platforms. This helped to ensure their audience of 9,000+ users across all platforms had access to information native to any individual platform.
