The National Urban League Young Professionals hosted their 2020 Eastern Regional Conference BEASTCON Virtually. The BEASTCON conference brings together the 18 Eastern Region National Urban League Young Professionals chapters each year. This event utilized Hopin, a platform for virtual conferences.

I was tasked with identifying a platform to host the conference, developing the identity, marketing, and branding for the conference, in addition to curating the user experience.

The 2020 BEASTCON conference logo reflects the collective Eastern region and features the skylines of the five largest chapters in the region - Washington, D.C., New York Metro Area, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh.

The BEASTCON 2020 conference was hosted via the Hopin platform. Hopin is designed for hosting virtual conferences. I ensured the platform accurately reflected the conference branding standards established at the beginning of the project.

I developed two guides to enhance the user experience. The BEASTCON Conference Guide provided a speaker listing, as well as session and panel overviews. The BEASTCON Social Media Guide enabled and encouraged attendees to interact in real-time with the panelists.

The BEASTCON Social Media guide also provided conference hashtags and the social media handles of each speaker, to keep the conversation going online.

I developed promotional assets to market the conference. This included individual flyers for each keynote speaker and panelist, as well as an individual flyer for each of the 18 Eastern Regional Urban League Chapters. General standalone flyers were created to highlight the workshops and conference themes.
